Built specifically for Alaskan expeditions, the newly constructed Northwest Odyssey is a world-class yacht. After years in the design process, the custom vessel offers a modern combination of up to date technology and equipment, while providing a classic cruising experience through Alaskan coastal waters. The vessel offers a comfortable lodge base of operations with a 360-degree view of the pristine Alaskan wilderness. Whether you are cruising by towering cliffs and bird rookeries, watching whales and sea life out on the water, looking at the distant volcanic peaks, or anchoring in a secluded bay—it will be a trip of a lifetime.
The Vessel is a perfect choice for 4-6 friends or family members, giving your group exclusive use of the entire vessel. Bring a participant such as a spouse, family member or videographer. There is a variety of fishing gear, boots, and waders on board and plenty of gear storage to get it all dry and out of the way. After each day’s outing, return to the vessel to relax and enjoy the evening dinner and all the amenities the Northwest Odyssey has to offer.
The Northwest Odyssey was designed and constructed from steel with the same rugged strength and integrity of vessels built for Alaska’s renowned commercial fisheries. It offers an ideal balance of public and personal space. The first-class amenities were cusom built with outdoorsmen in mind. With handcrafted wood interiors, guests feel comfortable and at home in one of the six beautiful staterooms.
The vessel’s specific design offers many advantages such as a flat bottom that could allow it to go dry during a tide or the ability to travel up further into some river systems. The bulbous bow is constructed to give a smoother ride and be able to handle Alaskan waters.
The Northwest Odyssey is a family operation, run by Preston and Stacie Cavner, who have over 20 years of guided, fishing, and touring expeditions in Alaska. Adding the vessel to their operations comes with great excitement as this is a one of a kind vessel on the coast of the Alaskan Peninsula.
